Beside the Premier League, Sportradar has further acquired the media rights for the Azerbaijan Cup – the major association football competition.

Starting with the Azerbaijani Cup on the 4th of December, the contract ensures an accumulated coverage of both competitions, with up to 100 matches per season.

Founded in 2007, the Azerbaijan Premier League follows in its competition format the usual double round-robin format. A total of 10 teams contest the league, with Neftchi Baku PFK as the current and undisputed champions, winning the tournament 3 times in a row.
