Sportradar Golf Charity Trophy 2013 a full success

Braz/Bludenz (Austria): This year’s Golf Trophy of Sportradar, the world’s leading supplier of sports and betting related data, which was played at 18-hole course Golf Clup Braz – Bludenz/Vorarlberg on September 25th has been a full success, and four selected charity organisations have been honoured with a generous donation.

After a really enjoyable golf Tournament last year at Fulwell Golf Club in Twickenham, England, this year Sportradar invited numerous numbers of clients, employees, board members and friends to the heart of the Austrian Alps. In bright sunshine, the 64 golfers in attendance did not only play to win this year’s trophy, but also competed as teams for four pre-selected charity organisations. Already in the forefront, Sportradar  has raised a total donation of 50,000 €, which has been split up due to the overall team performance for the local self-help group “Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg”, “Right To Play Switzerland”, “Plan Germany” and “Kinderkrebshilfe Schweiz”.

The overall victory by Stableford scoring system was achieved by Grant Gouws with a total score of 35. Sportradar’s CEO, Carsten Koerl thanked delegates for their participation despite longer journeys to attend the tournament in Braz: “I am proud to welcome such a large number of stakeholders in the Austrian Alps, not far from our headquarters in St. Gallen. The combination of playing golf for a good cause, and getting to know each other while enjoying the outline program, has resulted in a great event. Furthermore, I would like to thank all representatives of the charity organisation for their attendance, and hope to significantly support their mission with our donation.”
