At the annual ‘Betting on Football Awards’ (#Bofawards), which took place yesterday evening at the luxurious Playboy Club in the heart of London, Betradar a brand of Sportradar took home the trophy in the first of the evening’s categories:
‘Best Football Data Supplier’.
Alex Inglot, Sportradar’s Director of Communications, who represented the company at the Awards night, explained what the Award means to Sportradar and pointed out the team effort that made this success possible: ‘This Award, where winners were voted for by the industry gathered at the Betting on Football Conference this September, gives us a clear indicator of the trusted reputation Sportradar enjoys. So congratulations to all those members of the Sportradar team who unfortunately couldn’t make it to the Awards night, but who underpin the range of products and services we provide in this area.’
Winning this award was a very special achievement for Sportradar, the leading provider of live sports data technology and services, since most of the eight award categories at the Awards night acknowledge accomplishments in the industry’s B2C space and thus are won by bookmakers and/or affiliates.
The Betting on Football Awards, now in their second year, are dedicated to recognising and rewarding achievements in betting’s biggest and most important market. The Awards complement the Betting on Football Conference (#Bofcon), a one day conference which took place in September this year at the Emirates Arena in London, and where delegates explored the key facets of the betting industry’s relationship with the most popular sport in the world. The Conference brought together Football Clubs, Media Rights Agencies, Marketeers, Operators and Suppliers, to enjoy a day of discussions, learnings and networking, all at Arsenal FC’s iconic stadium.
