LeoVegas’ bet on Sportradar continues to earn pride

There’s no doubt that this year’s FIFA World Cup captured millions around the world. Keen to also grab the attention of those millions, many from the sports and betting sectors were tuning in to Betradar’s World Cup Centre and widgets.

One company that fully leveraged this opportunity, among Betradar’s clients, was mobile gaming company and provider of online casino and sports betting services, LeoVegas.

The existing data partnership between Betradar and LeoVegas was expanded in May this year to include a range of content solutions, including Betradar’s World Cup Centre and widgets from the Sportradar store.

The services have been utilised across their website domains including LeoVegas.com and LeoVegas.it.

As part of their ongoing commitment to improving the gaming experience ahead of the World Cup, LeoVegas launched their new sportsbook 2.0 and a new design for Leovegas.com, and as LeoVegas’ Head of Sport Operations, Jokela says Betradar helped boost their offering.

“Our definite goal is to provide as much relevant information to our customers as possible, therefore we decided to go for Betradar’s World Cup Centre and widgets as we found them to be perfect additions for our new sportsbook,” Jokela said.

Betradar’s sports data widgets provide clients like LeoVegas with a range of entertaining and uniquely designed online tools for a number of sports across the world.

The World Cup Centre was created to enable bookmakers to boost their revenues through new and special markets for all 64 matches within the tournament, as well as mythical match-ups.

“They really add value to our sportsbook and they’ve been greatly appreciated by our loyal customer base,” Jokela said.

LeoVegas Sport, powered by Kambi, was announced in 2016 with an aim to provide sports betting, across a multitude of different sports and regions, to really provide customers countless options and the ability to bet on their favourite teams. At the same time, they have also invested in their Live Casino and Casino brand in order to offer the market’s best experience while leading the way into the mobile future.

“Ever since the launch of LeoVegas Sport our goal has been to create the best live experience when betting on mobile,” LeoVegas’ Sports Manager in Sweden, Christian Polsater said.

“With the help of Betradar we have taken a huge step to improve the in-play experience for our customers. And, this year, with the help of the new widgets, our customers can find the information they need to decide what to bet on next without leaving our sportsbook.”

“Sportradar offers stats and information about selected matches and leagues where we offer odds. They add value and insight about each game to our existing customer base to help them make the decision on where to bet,” LeoVegas Sports Marketing Manager in Sweden, Mattias Wennerkvist added.

“We mainly use the Betradar content as additional information to the odds we have on site – so that our player can get a 360-degree understanding of the pregame conditions before kick-off.

“Our aim is to be able to host all relevant information about certain games at leovegas.com so that the customer doesn’t need to search for it elsewhere – Sportradar are helping us making that happen.”
