Odds. Whether pre-match or live, they are the dependable foundation of sports betting nowadays.
But add some innovation, several years’ experience and an ongoing dedication to developing solutions fashioned around client’s needs and you get an unrivalled 360 degree betting and gaming offering. This is Betradar’s beat.
It’s something Managing Director of Betting, Michael Maerz says Betradar takes pride in and is what has sealed the company’s reputation as one of the strongest sports and betting-related data providers in the industry, with some of the biggest-name sporting organisations in the industry, including the NBA, ITF, and ESL, as partners.
“We therefore cover a wide variety of sports, leagues and markets in both pre-match and in-play. And I think this is what helps ensure quality and depth of our products,” Maerz says.
Maerz recently sat down ahead of ICE 2018 to outline a few degrees of such offerings.
Numbers betting
“Numbers betting is one of our many pre-match betting solutions. Basically, it allows retail betting shops to offer punters the ability to bet on the outcome of over 20,000 real lottery draws each month,” Maerz explains.
“It’s a very unique service using the highest data quality possible and provides visualisation and live streaming of real-lottery draws across the globe.”
Unified Odds
Betradar’s Unified Odds Feed is a data delivery service that combines all the data Betradar supports.
“It gives our customers access to it in a really fast way,” Maerz says.
“And it works across all our betting products, from Life Cycle of Odds to our virtuals and Managed Trading Services (MTS) too. That’s something we’re looking forward to chatting with customers about at ICE.”
Premium Cricket
Maerz believes Betradar’s bespoke Premium Cricket Services (PCS) is the best in the world.
“It’s another example that sets us apart. It is the first and only reliable service in the market that unlocks the full betting potential of the world’s second most popular sport, which is followed by over 2 billion people,” Maerz says.
“We have comprehensive coverage of 1,200 live matches per year, including men’s and women’s internationals, as well as domestic matches, with the sharpest odds provided for over 200 pre-match and over 200 in-play markets. It really is the fastest cricket service in the market, providing customers with enormous potential for proven revenue growth.”
Kicking goals with the World Cup
Maerz also reiterated Betradar’s wide-ranging products to prepare operators as eyes across the globe turn to the World Cup this year.
“We will cover all 64 games with an extensive range of player related markets such as goals, shots, shots on goals, passes, assist and tackles on every field player.
“Plus there will be rapid markets, minute-by-minute in-play betting on what will occur next on the pitch.
“We will also be offering hundreds of mythical match-ups; pairing England with Germany or even Italy and the Netherlands, for example, if they happen to play a friendly match during the World Cup.”
Further new developments
“Recently, the demand for the so-called ‘request-a-bet’ and bet builder features has increased, allowing punters to request bets and have access to a front-end tool to build their own respectively,” Maerz explains.
“With more than 500 operator customers, we need this to be a fully automated process, so we have invested considerable time to developing an approach that takes manual trader interference pretty much out of the equation.
“We aim to have this product up and running for the start of the new football season, following the World Cup.”
