Today Sportradar and the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) added a new significant component to their long term partnership by ensuring the leading betting industry solution provider will now be able to offer its clients a range of high quality darts event streams. These new live stream capabilities across the World Series of Darts (WSOD) and the European Darts Tour (EDT) will be the fastest available in the industry and will perfectly complement the existing live data products and services Sportradar already provides to the betting industry, ensuring Sportradar is the go-to provider for darts content and solutions.
In 2016, the World Series of Darts will include a total of 6 tournaments in places such as the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, featuring 82 matches in all. The European Darts Tour will include 10 events taking place throughout Europe with a total number of 470 matches, starting with the first event that will begin on 12th February in Venray, Holland. Sportradar will have all these matches live and in full length, ensuring that their clients in the media space, as well as the betting and gaming sector, can show this engaging darts content.
Speaking about the expanded partnership, Chief Executive Professional Darts Corporate Matt Porter said: “Our work to date with Sportradar has been exceptionally fruitful, so when the opportunity came to add live streaming options to the existing data portfolio, we were happy to combine the two and let Sportradar bring them to market. We are in no doubt that providing this darts content to Sportradar will ensure that our data and now our streams reach the widest possible audience. Starting today, our fans worldwide can enjoy these key stops on the respective tours across a whole new range of platforms and outlets.”
