Sportradar is pleased to announce its new partnership with The Football Federation of Belarus (BFF). Sportradar has signed a five-year deal with commercial rights holder Sport Tube LLC to become official “Sports Data Partner of the Football Federation of Belarus”.
The BFF is the governing body of football in Belarus, based in Minsk. It organizes the Belarusian Premier League, First League, Second League, all Cup competitions and the Belarusian national football team (men`s and women`s). The federation was founded in 1989 and joined the UEFA in 1992 as well as the FIFA in 1993.
Sport Tube LLC has been granted the right and authorisations to market commercial rights of BFF on behalf of the federation. Sportradar acquired the worldwide and exclusive right to collect, archive and distribute sports data of all matches of competitions organised by the BFF for the betting industry. Furthermore, Sportradar acquired the non-exclusive right to collect, archive and distribute sports data of all matches to the media industry.
Sport Tube LLC partners up with Sportradar because of the experience as a leading sports data service provider and believes that the distribution of Official Data will support integrity measures by helping to eliminate the unauthorised collection, dissemination and use of official or erroneous data and the presence of unofficial data collectors at events of the BFF.
As the Official Data Partner to many federations, Sportradar understands the needs of sports federations to provide sophisticated solutions for data collection and distribution. Therefore, Sportradar will co-operate with Sport Tube LLC in order to build up a professional live scout network in Belarus.
Alexej Vakulshik, CEO of Sport Tube LLC, said: “As an established market leader in the field of sports data services, Sportradar will be an excellent partner for The Football Federation of Belarus and we look forward to working with them. Together we will enable all fans of Belarusian football to be able to utilise the full breadth and depth of the content offered. This partnership opens up some really fantastic opportunities.”
Carsten Koerl, group chief executive officer, Sportradar, said: “We are very pleased to co-operate with The Football Federation of Belarus. Our market leading betting and sports data services will engage fans throughout Europe in new ways and across all platforms.”
