Streaming service now includes soccer rights from Greece, Turkey and Romania
Sportradar is pleased to announce the further extension of its live streaming coverage for online, mobile and retail sports betting offers. Due to recent successful acquisitions of leagues and cup competitions in Greece, Turkey and Romania, Sportradar has substantially increased its portfolio of available live events for its Live Channel Online and Live Channel Retail.
Two weeks ago, Sportradar introduced the Greek “Super League” to its portfolio. The main focus will be on the games of the top Greek teams Panathinaikos and Olympiacos. Sportradar will stream a minimum of two matches per round from Greek football’s top league through the Live Channel of Sportradar’s brand Betradar.
A further new addition to Sportradar’s media rights portfolio is the Romanian soccer league “Liga I”, which already started in early July, together with the cup event “Cupa Ligii”. With more than 250 non-overlapping matches per season, all of which are played during weekdays, this property is highly attractive for betting operators. Both of these Romanian competitions will be available via Betradar’s Live Channel solutions for online, mobile and retail betting services.
Furthermore, Sportradar has succeeded in signing the Turkish soccer cup “Ziraat Türkiye Kupasi” for Betradar’s Live Channel Retail. The cup competition mostly covers off-peak hours on weekdays and includes renowned European clubs such as Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Trabzonspor.
“With our Live Channels Online and Retail, we are providing dedicated live streaming solutions to the betting industry. The latest extensions to our portfolio are again truly betting relevant focusing on off-peak slots in the daily schedule of the bookmaker’s offering. The pool of events we are now offering to our clients are spread strategically across all hours and days throughout the year to unlock new turnover potential and entertainment solutions for bookmakers”, stated Jörn Anhalt, Managing Director Media Rights at Sportradar.
